WWI German Postcard of a Company of Soldiers Wearing Pickelhaubes
This real photo postcard depicts a company of German soldiers wearing Pickelhaubes standing in front of a barn. The covers of the Pickelhaubes bear the regimental number 30. There are two officers wearing greatcoats and each carries a sword. One of the soldiers on the left of the central officer is wearing the Iron Cross 2nd Class.
There is a hand written caption on the left border, which indicates that the group belongs to a Pioneer Battalion and the photograph was taken on 20.09.1915.
