Description
Indenture, dated 4th November 1693, from the reign of William and Mary.
A very rare indenture written on vellum and dated 4th November 1693, in the reign of William and Mary, between Richard Thomas of Lower Cragge in Ayringden in the County of York and Christopher Thomas of the same Parish.
Although the indenture is rather wrinkled on the right hand side, all the writing is clear and the original wax seal is present. The date 1693 appears in the top left of the document.
The indenture measures 44cm. in length including the seal strip and 40cm. in width.
