This substantial 2nd century Roman bronze ring has an excellent dark green patina (as can be seen in the image). It is decorated with a stylised figure of Hercules holding a club in the right hand and possibly a lion skin in the other. The figure is engraved upon a slightly raised oval bevel, which is decorated with incised dots around the edge.
The ring is a British find and measures 2.2 cm. in diameter. Wearable, probably on a man's little finger.
