Medieval Bronze Chessman Style Seal Matrix with the Letter “N”

A 15th-century bronze seal matrix with hexagonal shaft and trefoil suspension loop. The circular seal face depicts the letter “N” in Lombardic style and with two palm-like fronds on either side.

The seal is in very good condition with a smooth even patina. It measures 28 mm in length whilst the diameter is 23 mm.
