1st/2nd Century Roman bronze Key

This is a long solid handled slide key with a shank, in bronze. The handle has a carrying loop at the end terminal. There is also a simple incised cross-hatched decoration just before the key's three teeth on one side.

The key is in very good condition with a light green even patina. Its measurements are 67 mm in length and 20 mm in width.
