13th/14th Century Trefoil Horse Pendant Depicting the Three Gold Crowns of East Anglia
This trefoil-shaped horse harness pendant of the Diocese of Bury St Edmunds depicts the Three Gold Crowns of East Anglia on a red enamelled background. The pendant retains approximately 70% of its enamelling although it is quite faint.
The pendant measures 30 mm in length including the loop and 20 mm in width. The surface of the pendant is rather granulated, but it is in overall good condition.
