14th Century Quatrefoil Horse Harness Pendant    SOLD

This small but attractive 14th century quatrefoil pendant depicts a crown within a square central panel on a red enamelled background. Around the edges in the four outer lobes, there appear to be small beasts on a blue enamelled background.

The pendant is complete with its loop and retains about 30% of its enamelling. It is in very good condition amd measures 40 mm in length including the loop and 20 mm in width.
