Rare Group of Four Luftwaffe/Fallschirmjager Documents to Oberfeldwebel, Adolf Bruhn
This group of documents includes;
1) Personal data sheet of Adolf Bruhn with two uniform passphotos attached.
2) Promotion to Feldwebel 31/05/40, whilst serving with LW. Bau-Btl.XVII
3) Paratrooper's Badge Citation, 31/01/42, signed by the C.O. of the Airforce Pesonnel Dept. General Gustav Kastnor-kirdof (German Cross in silver 26/07/43. Comitted suicide on 04/05/45).
4) Promotion to Oberfeldwebel , 21/04/42, whilst based with 2 Fallschirmjager Kraftfahr- Ausbildungs- Abt.
Adolf Bruhn served during 1940 with LW Bau- Btl. XVII, an Airforce Pioneer's Unit of Airdistrict XVII.
In 1942, he transferred to the 2. Fallsch. Jg. Kraftf. Ausb. Abt., a Paratroops driving unit, based at Helmstedt. As a member of this unit, he served in Italy against British forces from 1943 onwards.
