British War and Victory Pair to 47670 Pte. W. Finch of the Welsh Regiment W.I.A. Passchendaele

Mint condition

Walter Finch enlisted into the 2nd Battalion of the Welsh Regiment in early 1916. Fighting with the 2/9th Battalion, his first action was on the Somme in the Battle of the Ancre, 14th November 1916. He later took part in the Battles of Passchendaele in 1917, where he was wounded in action whilst serving with the Welsh Regiment.

Pte. Walter Finch was placed on the SWB list whilst attached to the R.A.O.C., after he had recovered from his wound. 

The medals come with their original named box of issue and are sold with a copy of the MIC.
