9th C. Anglo-Saxon Bronze Strapend 9th Century Anglo-Saxon Strapend with Silver Inlay

 This bronze strapend is of the East-Anglian variety and is in a very good state of preservation. The strapend is in the shape of an animal head with pronounced eyes and a pointed snout. The main body of the strapend incorporates an "S" scroll design created from silver wire.
