Large Georgian indenture (tripartite) written on 8th April 1761 between John Knowles and Thomas Knowles, both of Studley in Sangfield in the county of York, and Thomas Barker of Woodbottom in Essingden.
The deed relates to the sale of farmland including the barn and stable. This indenture is in extremely good condition and includes the Royal Coat of Arms in the left hand corner as well as four well impressed wax seals.
The indenture measures 88.5cm. in length and 70cm. in width.
